Jason Allport, originally from Australia, now owns and runs the famous Governors Café in Suva. He brings wide experience as a chef.

Moving to Fiji five years ago for love, Mr Allport is now happily married with a child.

He said he enjoyed taking his family out on boat rides.

“I don’t get much time off, so hobbies are a few and far between,” he said.

What is the one place in Fiji you would take every visitor to, and why?

It would be every island but definitely Colo-i-Suva Forest Park.

I think that is a pretty special spot, and it’s unique.

And it’s also an easy place to access.

What is your favourite secret backyard spot?

The Beachouse in Coral Coast.

It is a nice, low-key and relaxed set up there.

I has some amazing reef out at front, awesome diving and wildlife.

Everything that get around the sunset and the sunrise.

Awesome spot.
