When Maria Miller first started at Toorak’s élevé, she knew little about making a good cup of coffee. Six months later, she is on top of it.

Like the Toorak Central team, Ms Miller aspires for consistent high-quality customer service and delicious coffee.

“I come to work, meet our customers, and make sure they’re happy. When they leave, they’re satisfied,” she said.

While the 38-year-old mum of three has previous hospitality experience, she says that working at élevé for the last several months has been a huge learning curve for her.

“I’ve developed my skills. When I first started, I wasn’t very good at making coffee. But now I’m doing quite well.”
