Summer Series cruises to the Yasawas for Christmas, New Year, and January have all been sold out.

There has been a lot of demand for Blue Lagoon Cruises five package deals.

It marks good news for the company which suspended operations in March 2020, following COVID-19.

Cruise services would commence from December 11, said general manager Fiji and Asian sales, Loretta St Julian‑Ooms.

“There’s been a good uptake for the local special, which is over 65 per cent discount on normal rates,” she said.

“We are pleased to have five locals cruises scheduled from mid-December onwards.

“Summer Series cruises to the Yasawas for Christmas, New Year, and January have all been sold out,” she said.

“Packages are valued at $1650 a cabin Rates on three nights cruise are reduced by at least $2960 a cabin,” Ms St Julian-Ooms said.

Guests can however, encouraged to capitalise on the remaining cruises:

  • January cruise two, which departs January 11, and returns January 14.
  • December cruise departure: December 17, and returns December 20.

“With so much demand for these Summer Series, we have added a fifth departure date on December 17, 2020,” Ms St Julian-Ooms said.

Blue Lagoon Cruises operates one vessel, M.V. Fiji Princess, with a three-night cruise, which allows guests to enjoy close to 65 per cent off regular cruise rates.

“Our small ship cruise includes all meals, and a range of amazing activities on and off our small ship, including plenty of time spent ashore each day soaking up the sun,” Ms St Julian-Ooms said.
