Want to celebrate an achievement on board one of Captain Cook Cruises Fiji vessels?

If you do, Captain Cook Cruises can tailor make products and cruises to suit group requirements.

Company Operations Manager Alifereti Koroilavesau said they have always catered exclusively to locals and groups over the years.

“When we have groups, normally we would give them their own vessel and the part of island exclusively to that group.

“We tailor it you what the occasion is and what our corporate groups want.

“We can do birthdays, weddings, team building exercises, weddings, alumni and family reunions, anniversaries, engagements.

“You can even have your functions on the vessel and Tivua Island as well.”

Services

In terms of costs, Mr Koroilavesau said it would depend on what the client or group would want added on.

“The rate offered for locals at $99 per person for the day cruise.

“However, if guests want additional services and exclusive use of ships or the Island then the price varies.

“These could be an earlier departure or later arrival. Inclusion of beverage packages.

“You can contact our sales team on: sales@captaincook.com.fj

“We have had schools, government private and public sectors, even diplomatic corps and NGO’s join us before for their corporate functions or team building exercises.

“Even church groups and family reunions.

“I would encourage groups to take advantage of this time to book in advance as we are always busy in the festive season catering to locals and groups.”

Coral rejuvenation programme

Take part in the coral rejuvenation programme and buy a coral to build a reef for $5.

He highlighted the coral rejuvenation programme is an ongoing project since 2011.

“In our attempts to rejuvenate and rehabilitate the 500 plus acres of reef surrounding the island.

“Since the Marine Biologists are doing this as part of their work, we thought it would be ideal to offer our guests an opportunity to help the Marine Environment around Tivua. “Basically you buy a coral frag for $5 and the funds go towards procuring materials for the coral planting.

“We have moved towards using magimagi as it is more environmentally safe and gives other fellow Fijians an opportunity to sell it to us.

“You’re issued a certificate and the coral racks are tagged for the future in case a guest wants to return and plant their coral in the surrounding habitat.

“This is all kept in record and we monitor the progress and continue to find innovative and better ways to improve our current techniques,” he said.
