Life as a doctor is hard because people’s lives are on the line.

Dr Kesaya Tagivuni believes talking about it helps. She said it represented a true Fijian identity.

Dr Kesaya is a medical officer at Makoi Health Centre in Nasinu, and is a single mother to one son.

Her work has allowed her to travel to places like Rabi, Ovalau and Vanua Levu, which are areas she’s learned much about as a young doctor.

She hails from Navavai, Ra.
