Nittiya and Sanjeshni Investments Pte Limited recently took over the ownership and operation of the Oasis Palms Hotel at Wailoaloa Beach Road in Nadi. In the coming weeks, the company will be taking over the ownership and operations of a private hotel at Robertson Road, Suva as well.

This company is owned by businessman Nittiya Ram who originates from Ranibulu, a cane farming area in Labasa now settled in Suva for the past 33 years.

Together with his wife, Sanjeshni Ram originally from Nukuloa in Ba, they invested into this company.

Mr Ram who worked as a sugarcane farmer, driver, bailiff for Merchant Finance for 17 years, now owns one of Fiji’s largest towing companies, Aditya’s Autowinches Ltd, Aditya Crane Hire Ltd, Aditya Taxis Ltd, Ram Buses Ltd, Ram Cheaper Timber & Hardware Supplies Ltd has now joined the tourism sector.

“Thanks to my supportive children and wife through whom I was able to access the tourism business and incentives provided by the Government and ventured into the hotel business,” Mr Ram said.

“Hotel industry is thriving, and we want to provide the much-needed accommodation services that people deserve.”

He thanked the support from the Prime Minister Sitiveni Rabuka and his Minister for Tourism, Viliame Gavoka for supporting the tourism sector and providing alot of incentives.
