Inclement weather did not dampen the mood for day guests at Beachcomber Island Resort at the weekend, as 50-plus guests flocked to a day of fun-filled activities.

Resort manager, Nemia Marama, said guests preferred to swim, snorkel or kayak at the weekend, as they took advantage of the packaged deal.

Other water-based activities included coral viewing, fish feeding and turtle feeding.

Ms Marama said land based activities included putt – putt – golf, cocktail mixing and pool table.

With a group expected on the island this week, Ms Marama said more activities were planned.

Weather permitting, group activities such as beach volleyball, tug of war, sack race, and water relay.

Guests can access the island through boat transfers to and from Port Denarau.
