Shangri-La’s Fijian Resort and Spa is doing it again.

The resort’s second Beach Beats and Eats weekend continues for the second time, after attracting more locals.

Bookings have increased at the island resort on Yanuca for this weekend’s event - a success management tributes to the inaugural event in July.

Director Sales and Marketing Marsha Eyre said the programme starts from Friday through to Sunday, and will feature the various entertainment, food stalls and artisans.

The theme this month is Touch of Latin, which will be reflected in the cuisine and entertainment at the weekend.

Dinner will include a touch of Latin food, a movie and performances by Sassy and Inside Out.

Activities

Activities planned for the weekend include:

  • VOU dance group’s campfire kids dance workshop,
  • market place,
  • Cuban corner featuring Fiji’s best Mojitos, Cuban rum and open-air cigar lounge,
  • poolside DJ,
  • international food stalls,
  • and family treasure hunt with prizes up for grabs.

Rates

Shangri-La’s Fijian Resort features Fiji’s biggest water park.

Rooms are available at a reduce rate of $210 VIP.

Guests who book a second room get 30 per cent off room rates.

Room rates are applicable for two adults, and two children under 12 years.

Children under 12 years stay, play and eat for free.

Guests check in on Friday, with late check out on Sunday.
