Eroni Vuetibau plans to raise the level of service at InterContinental Grand Pacific Hotel to seven star rating.
He is one of three people promoted within the food and beverage ranks of the Suva hotel, where he is the assistant service manager.
Service is his middle name.

Mr Vuetibau has work experience for some renowned hotel brands in Fiji.
In his previous role as restaurant manager with Radisson Blu Chantara Thai outlet, he brought the ratings up two spots on Tripadvisor.
“Most tourists check the raves on Tripadvisor before they venture out,” he said.
He was service manager for food and beverage at the Wyndham Resort from 2017 to 2019, and head supervisor at Hilton Resort and Spa in 2008.
Mr Vuetibau joined the cruise line industry working for Princess Cruises Australia as a food and beverage supervisor for two years between 2009 and 2012.
He later joined Captain Cook Cruises as hospitality manager for two years between 2012-2014.
Mr Vuetibau completed several certifications including Certificate IV Training and Assessment from Australian Pacific Technical College and Certificate in Hospitality Management from Fiji National University.
Outside of work, he loves keeping himself healthy and fit and is a regular at the gyms.
Reading, meeting people and going to the movies are among his pastime.
