The field of information and communication technology is forever evolving, says Swaran Ravindra.
She is a senior instructor/industry consultant in the Information Technological Training Department at the Fiji National University’ s National Training and Productivity Center.
Ms Ravindra has been with FNU for the past 15 years and her role has never been limited to just teaching or training.

She learns new things everyday through her work as an academia, and actively participates in global internet governance through her association with Asia Pacific Regional Internet Governance Forum.
She was humbled to be recognised during the Fiji Business Excellence Awards for the five years’ service to the nation as an evaluator.
Her award was given by the President Ratu Wiliame Katonivere.
What Are Your Hobbies?
Exploring abandoned places, reading/watching supernatural, horror and thrillers; cooking, baking, exploring vintage art, vehicles and historic buildings.
I enjoy working with children and the elderly. I enjoy working with the rural and marginalised communities
How Many Places Have You Visited Around Fiji?
Apart from Vitilevu, Labasa, Savusavu and Levuka, there are still many places in Fiji I haven’t been to.
