Mental health champion Lionel Rogers is a counsellor with Fiji Corrections Service. He is also the president and regional trainer for Youth Champs 4 Mental Health, a non profit organisation that lobbies against the stigma of suicide and mental health issues. Mr Rogers was awarded Point of Light recognition by HRH Queen Elizabeth II, for his volunteer efforts in the field of mental health.

Mental health champion Lionel Rogers is a counsellor with Fiji Corrections Service.

He is also the president and regional trainer for Youth Champs 4 Mental Health, a non profit organisation that lobbies against the stigma of suicide and mental health issues.

Mr Rogers was awarded Point of Light recognition by HRH Queen Elizabeth II, for his volunteer efforts in the field of mental health.

The former Marist Brothers High School student was raised in Lami, and has travelled the world quite extensively.

He has spent the past 10 years collecting pet snakes, cats and dogs.

Mr Rogers also has a soft spot for woven handicraft.
