Mr Drikibau worked at Hilton Fiji Beach Resort and Spa where he was assistant restaurant manager from 2019. Prior to Hilton Fiji, he spent over three years at Muri Beach Club Hotel in the Cook Islands, where he was restaurant manager and wedding coordinator.

Taufa Drikibau’s experience in international brands makes him the perfect candidate for the job he now holds.

He was appointed new service manager for food and beverage, at InterContinental Grand Pacific Hotel Suva.

Mr Drikibau is career-driven, pursuing a bachelor’s degree in hospitality operations and management from Fiji National University.

He has successfully completed other certifications from Australia Pacific Training Coalition.

Mr Drikibau hails from Levuka, but was raised in Nadi.

He enjoys making friends out of strangers.

Hockey, swimming and gardening are among his pastime activities.

“While I’m not entirely a private person, I don’t like self-promotion,” he said.

He worked at Sheraton Fiji and Westin Resort on Denarau for more than two years.

Mr Drikibau worked at Kokomo Resort and Denarau Surfers Dive, during his early career.
