Let's Go Local: Ravi Chhaganlal Lists Yasawa On His List

The Yasawas remain on Ravi Chhaganlal’s bucket list because he is yet to experience the ocean escapades and its natural beauty.

Mr Chhanganlal is originally from the Hidden Paradise, Savusavu, and is the managing director of ‘Rahis Pte Limited’ on the mainstreet of Savusavu for the past seven years.

He spent most of his time growing up in Savusavu as a child of a businessman and only moved to Suva for his tertiary education at the University of the South Pacific.

He worked for six years at a financial institution and was a member of Savusavu Chamber of Commerce from 2016 to 2019.

He is currently the president of Savusavu Chamber of Commerce and is also part of the Blue Town Committee in Savusavu.

You’d often find him with an earpiece glued to his ear and shades with a casual outfit.

He has visited many parts of Fiji and the world including New Zealand, Hong Kong, China, Singapore, Malaysia, Thailand.

On his local travel list is Fiji Marriott Resort Momi Bay, Castaway Island Fiji, Jean-Michel Cousteau Resort Fiji, Daku Resort, Koro Sun Resort & Rainforest Spa, The Remote Resort and Paradise Cove Resort.

What is your favourite backyard spot, and why?

My favourite backyard spot is the Planters Club of Savusavu.

It is usually the place where I meet my friends for a game of snooker and at the same time enjoy the relaxing atmosphere with other members of the club.
