Lion One Speeds Up Mine Construction

Construction of Fiji's next gold mine has been accelerated following the completion of project financing, at the Tuvatu alkaline gold project in Fiji.

Lion One chief executive officer, Walter Berukoff, said ongoing mine development, the company was preparing to mobilise personnel for the installation and com­missioning of the Tuvatu gold processing plant.

"All components of the processing plant have been delivered to Fiji, with shipments of the remaining bulk materials in pro­gress, and expected to be delivered by the end of March, to coincide with the com­pletion of infrastructure for the mill area, electro-winning facility, and gold room," he said.
