Love for race cars made Rizwan Buksh import a 3.5l V6 Nissan 350z from Japan in December 2021.

Mr Buksh said the 350Z is a front- engine, rear-wheel-drive, two-door, two-seat sports car designed by Ajay Panchal of Nissan Design America in San Diego, California.

He said the external design highlights include sloping fast back style arched roof line, unique brushed aluminum door handles and bulging fenders that are pushed out to the corners of the vehicle.

“After I started working, I bought my first car in 2015. Currently, I own two vehicles, one is a Toyota Land Cruiser Prado (SUV) and the other is a Nissan 350z which is a sports car,” he said.

“My wife has been really supportive of my passion for cars. In December 2021, I imported the Nissan 350z from Japan because I want to be a racer as well.

“With my SUV, I have participated in car shows and have won multiple trophies."

“Ever since I was small, I have enjoyed watching movies about cars, especially the Fast and Furious franchise. And also like how the mechanics of the cars work,” he said.

The Vodafone device specialist said as the executive member of the Syndicate Car Club; “I hope to see the club reach greater heights”.

“The club was formed by me and my friends. I am one of the founding members of the club. It was formed on January 16 2021 during a car show event,” he said.

“Since I am an executive member, it allows me to organise things for the club and also work closely with members to accomplish our goals.

A big event is happening this Friday and we are working together to accomplish it, The Next Big Thing. We foresee the Syndicate Car Club being among the well-known clubs of the Fijian car community,” he said.

He said the club is hoping to have more shows and fundraisers in the near future.
