McDonald’s Fiji yesterday announced the restoration of M-PAiSA services at its three Central Division outlets.

MPAiSA services were suspended at McDonald’s for a month until yesterday. It followed an outage of a month as the company upgraded its software systems.

Operations manager Nazlan Jaleel said the upgraded systems with the latest technology, enhanced the experience for customers.

“This upgrade is all about making every visit to our restaurants smoother, faster, and more enjoyable. From streamlined ordering to quicker service and personalised touches, our goal is to ensure our guests feel right at home at their favourite family restaurant,” he said.

“We’re committed to continually evolving and elevating the experience for every customer who walks through our doors.”

And it has.

Showcasing eight digital kiosks at the food chain’s Nakasi outlet, Mr Jaleel said the customised digital order service was a frontliner for Fiji.

It is also featured in the Nadi outlet, and saves on physically waiting in line to place orders.

The sophistication of the kiosk is personalised right down to detail, where customers can order additional servings of their choice.

Mr Jaleel has worked for global McDonald’s franchise for two decades. He took up his Fiji appointment three months ago and has big plans for the brand.

“It’s about turning things around,” the Sri Lankan national said of his leadership style.
