‘Make Use of your surrounding, Earn a Living’

It was never in Amrita Devi Lal dream to earn money one day using her talent in Crochetier.

She now makes and sells earrings, doll dresses and knitting textiles.

Ms Lal started selling pieces of her craft to her family and friends six years ago, and in the process began building her small business.

The 34-year-old said she knew how to use crochet hooks just by observing her aunties and grandmother while growing up.

She came up with the initia­tive to start her own business after giving birth to her sec­ond child in 2016.
