Ministry Of Lands To Revisit Mining Consultation Process

The Government has announced it will review all consultation processes for the proposed mining and building of a hydro dam in Namosi.

The announcement follows growing objections from local landowners who claim that there has not been enough consultation.

The Ministry for Lands and Mineral Resources, led by Minister Filimoni Vosarogo, will revisit the consulta­tion process with landowners and companies involved in the project.
