The Minister for Tourism and Civil Aviation, Viliame Gavoka says a major challenge in the tourism sector is the migration of its highly skilled and trained staff overseas.

Mr Gavoka said the staff of the tourism industry in Fiji was highly trained and marketable people who got poached by the hospitality industry overseas.

Mr Gavoka said there was a need for the industry to fill in these gaps.
