Nanuku Under New Management

A multi-award winning luxury resort is under new management.

Nanuku Resort, a luxury resort at Deuba, is now under Storey Hotel Management Group.

The resort was previously managed by Auberge Resorts Collection.

Independent, luxury hotel management

Storey Hotel Management Group says it’s style of management thinks and acts from an owner’s perspective.

The Storey team specialises in independent, luxury hotel management, said Nanuku Resort’s public relations officer,  Sarah Knight.

“We feel strongly that the Storey management team will bring Nanuku the luxury expertise and focused support needed to continue Nanuku’s success,” she said.

“The decision to become a more independent property is purely a natural progression; a reflection of Nanuku’s success and our long term vision for the resort.”

Optimism

The demand for travel was reflected in the December and January occupancy at Nanuku Resort, following the reopening of international travel, Ms Knight said.

While there is still some risk in the travel industry for 2022, the resort remains optimistic about the outcome, Ms Knight said.

“We have seen great success in opening to the domestic market, so we are looking forward to forging ahead with whatever the future may bring,” she said.

The resort maintained its workforce of 115 staff members even when international borders closed.

“As business escalates further, we will begin to grow our operations and team too,” Ms Knight said.
