New Water Authority Chief Presents Sevusevu to Infrastructure Minister
The Water Authority of Fiji’s newly appointed Chief Executive Officer, Amit Chanan, assumed charge yesterday. Mr Chanan presented his sevusevu to the Minister for Infrastructure and Meteorological Services, Jone Usamate, at Nasilavata House in Samabula, Suva.

The Water Authority of Fiji’s newly appointed Chief Executive Officer, Amit Chanan, assumed charge yesterday. Mr Chanan presented his sevusevu to the Minister for Infrastructure and Meteorological Services, Jone Usamate, at Nasilavata House in Samabula, Suva.
“This is the first time ever, since I have been a minister, that the chief executive of a utility has come and presented a sevusevu – so I thank you, Mr Chanan, and your team, for paying homage to the traditions of this country,” Mr Usamate said as he welcomed the new CEO on behalf of the Fijian Government.
