No Response From Chaudhry To Join Sugar Board

Minister for Sugar and Multi-Ethnic Affairs, Charan Jeath Singh, has clarified that no agreement or con­firmation has been reached in regards to the appointment of Mahendra Chaudhry to the Fiji Sugarcane Cooperation (FSC) Board.

Mr Singh said that his request for Mr Chaudhry to lead the FSC Board would be decided by the Prime Minister’s office in con­sultation with the proposed candidate.

“All appointment proposals are sent to the PM’s office and any development on Mr Chaudhry’s appointment will be notified by them,” he said.
