Paintball Pacific To Open In Vatuwaqa

A paintball facility is being constructed to the tune of $45,000.

In what is believed to be a first for the capital city, the paint­ball centre promises to draw in piqued interest when it opens at the end of the month.

Owner, and former school teacher, Dhirish Kumar, said the idea was inspired by his experi­ence with his younger sibling.

“I watched my little brother play online games in which he connected virtually,” Mr Kumar said.

“I decided to do my research, and a lot of planning to turn the game of paintball to reality.

“The purpose of the building of the facility is to bring indi­viduals from all walks of life to involve themselves in technical games.”

Mr Kumar is confident the game centre at Vautwaqa in­dustrial area, will gain national momentum when it is launched.

He is the operation manager for Fiji Table Tennis association.
