Prasad On FRCS Board Allowances

Board Members governing tax collectors earn a monthly income of close to $1000.

Deputy Prime Minister and Minister for Finance, Biman Prasad, said individual allowances of more than $900 were paid to board members of Fiji Revenue and Customs Service, effective from 2014.

Two members who served as simultaneous chairpersons during the period were paid a monthly sum of $1,416.67, totaling $17,000.04 annually, according to information presented by Mr Prasad.
