A leading manufacturer of retail products has issued a timely reminder for consistency in personal and general hygiene across the country as the flu season kicks in.

“For several years now, Ocean Soaps Limited has produced a variety of soaps and has also built in its Navutu premises in Lautoka a world-class laboratory and testing facility, meeting the most demanding Australian certification standards,” said the group’s quality control manager, Priya Kumar.

She told students the Bodyguard soap brand ingredients were ideal to improve personal hygiene and stop the spread of germs through hand washing.
“Handwashing with soap is expected to be a significant contribution to meeting the United Nations’ Millennium Development Goal of reducing deaths of children under the age of five by two-thirds by 2015. As good habits begin in childhood, children can be the driving force for changing behaviours, like using soap when washing hands, in their communities,” she said.
