Sawaad Bistro is Suva’s latest Coffee Shop and is the product of the hard work and determination of its owner, Berlinda Williams.

Berlinda, as she is commonly known, was the former Team Leader Sales & Marketing at Fijian Broadcasting Corporation, before venturing into her business.

She highlighted that over the years, she had frequented many different restaurants. She is famous for complimenting “Sawaad”, translated Delicious, if the dish she’s tasted meets her high standard. Hence the name Sawaad Bistro.

Sawaad Bistro in collaboration with Total Service Station in Flagstaff, which she says: “Aims to cater for clients who are looking for Sawaad, reasonably priced items which can be bought to go or have in a clean, chic environment”.

“It’s where the Indian Sawaad meets the French Chic to create an environment that’ll keep the customers coming back for more.

“It is also unique in that it will be using premium coffee beans to introduce even higher standards of coffee for those serious coffee lovers out there.

“In these trying times Sawaad Bistro is proud to provide money earning opportunities for its employees, and to boost our beloved countries economy.”

“There are a total of five fulltime staff employed by Sawaad Bistro, plus the directors partner and herself who will manage and run the family business.

“It is a fully locally owned and operated business that believes in enhancing our beautiful nation of Fiji.”

“Sawaad Bistro looks forward to the support from the community and hopes you will give us the opportunity to serve you when you’re next in our corner.”
