Shortage In Livestock

Fiji Meats Industry Board con­tinues to monitor and impose a strict ban of the slaughtering of female livestock.

Board chief executive officer Vimal Chand said the annual income of Fiji Meats Industry Board was based on livestock given by farmers.

“There is a shortage of sheep and goats,” he said
