Subrails Opens New Branch In Laucala Beach

Customer loyalty has paved the way for many businesses including Subrails .

Yesterday the company opened its 13th branch, in Nokonoko, Laucala Beach.

Subrails Furniture director Shiva Gounder says the company has been working to secure the new branch since 2016 and had invested over $500,000.

Mr Gounder said: “We have been in the retail business for the last 19 years.“The first store was opened in the year 2000 which was primarily a furniture store.”

New range of products:

Mr Gounder added the new Nokonoko branch will feature new products that are not available at other branches.

“We have a new air-conditioned environment that carries a much larger range of electrical that is not available in other branches in Fiji.

“For this branch we have specifically imported new leather lounge suites, bedroom suites that have not been in other branches previously.”

The Nokonoko branch has a wide parking lot which he says provides a convenient shopping experience for customers.

Mr Gounder added as part of Subrails plans, there are on -going talks with their major furniture supplier Marcoco Furniture Industries in Malaysia.

“We are looking at one of our suppliers in Malaysia that the Prime Minister had visited recently, we have been in talks and we are looking to bring in their range of products just to give a better range of choices for our customers. The Nokonoko branch currently employs 20 staff.
