Tax On Track, 105 New Jobs

Fiji is meeting its tax target for the current financial year, said Fiji Revenue and Customs Service (FRCS) chief executive officer, Mark Dixon.

Fiji is meeting its tax target for the current financial year, said Fiji Revenue and Customs Service (FRCS) chief executive officer, Mark Dixon.

With $2.3 billion to be achieved before the end of the financial year, tax payment have been made easier through the FRCS Taxpayer Online Services platform, said Mr Dixon.

“We’ve had some strong revenue collections through the period like Christmas and New Year,” he said.

Tax collected in the last financial year was $1.8 billion.
