US Food And Drug Administration To Audit Kava Factories

At least five kava factories are listed on a site inspection itinerary of a visiting American team, SunBiz has established.

Representatives of the American Food and Drug Administration - which polices the highest level of food and safety practices for items exported to America – are in the country as part of their annual spot check on kava factories that export to the US.

FDA is respected for its strict compliance criteria in exports.

Meanwhile, one kava factory confirmed a visit by FDA as part of an annual audit in recent weeks.
