Webmedia South Pacific operation director Manish Mishra believes the use of artificial intelligence (AI) is transforming the communication sector.

The company is using artificial intelligence to automate content creation, perform data analysis, and develop chatbots to handle customer inquiries for clients, he said.

Mr Mishra said artificial intelligence would change the world.

“There are many great thinkers who feel the world is not even ready for what artificial intelligence is already bringing today,” he said.

“It replaces human thinking and completes tasks that help with decision making and data analyses. It’s software that can run on its own.

He said the installment of artificial intelligence did not cause a redundancy in Webmedia South Pacific.
