Yees Cold Storage Celebrates 30 Years Of Hard Work

Nadi –based Yees Cold Storage Seafood Pte. Ltd management with their 200 staff yesterday celebrated 30 years of hard work and achievements.
The clients they service and supply include hotels, resorts, airlines, food outlets, yachts, corporate firms and supermarkets.
Company director Joseph Yee, through Skype from Australia, said during the celebrations that it was a milestone for them.

Mr Yee attributed this achievement to hard work which was recognised in each member of their staff.
“It was a milestone for us and it was a lot of hard work and achievement to get this far. It was not an easy journey for us.
“Practically all our staff did not come with degrees."
“They came like everyday people from every walk of life."
“They have been put into areas that they might have not worked in the past. However with guidance and training, they come a long way.”
He said some who had started at the company by sweeping the floor were now heads of departments.
“They have grown over the years. We are very proud of them. We are just like family here.”
He said he had first invested $150,000 to start his business and it has now grown over the years.
Company director Doreen Yee said the company was a Christian-based company which they set Christian morals and values.
“It was through our trust in God that we were able to achieve what we are today.”
