The Fiji Independent Commission Against Corruption (FICAC) said this omission made the declaration “materially false”.
Prasad is represented by Richard Naidu , while Joseph Works appeared for FICAC.
Works said public office holders must complete statutory declarations accurately.
FICAC alleges that Prasad’s undisclosed directorship breached this legal obligation.
No additional facts were read in court and the prosecution did not oppose bail.
Magistrate Prasad granted bail under previous conditions and ordered both parties to file their disclosures.
The matter has been adjourned for mention to allow time for document exchange and to set the next court date to January 26, 2026.
