Dr Isireli's alleged murderer remanded

Ratu Peceli Rosotokaicake Rokoravolo has been remanded in custody for the alleged murder of Dr Isireli Biumaitotoya at his Namaka, Nadi home last week.
He appeared before Magistrate Semi Babitu at the Nadi magistrate court this morning charged with one count of murder.
State lawyer Joeli Naivalu strongly objected to bail because of the seriousness of the offence.

The matter has now been transferred to the Lautoka High Court, where it has been adjourned to September 24 for mention.
Ratu Peceli informed the court that he would be representing himself in the proceedings.
