Defence lawyer Amoz Radrodro will file a fresh bail application for Zoe Moore Maharaj, who is accused of unlawful possession of explosives and drugs.

Maharaj appeared before Magistrate Joseph Daurewa at the Suva Magistrates Court today, where Radrodro said the defence intended to submit a new bail application.

The court said issues with her earlier bail applications must first be addressed.

Magistrate Daurewa said bail would only be considered after a proper review of those concerns.

Maharaj faces several serious charges, including unlawful possession of illicit drugs, possession of property believed to be proceeds of crime, possession of break-in tools, and unlawful possession of explosives.
