It is alleged that Tabau failed to stop his vehicle after hitting the officer.
Police prosecutor Constable Fazim Ali told the court that full disclosures have already been served to the accused.
With that, prosecutions also objected to Tabau’s bail application.
The case has now been transferred to the High Court.
Tabau has sought legal representation from Legal Aid for the next stage of proceedings.
The case has been adjourned to May 8.
