Josua Ravula, the man accused of possessing 42.9 grams of methamphetamine, will remain in custody after his remand was extended at the Suva Magistrate Court today.
Ravula’s earlier bid for bail was refused, with Magistrate Sufia Hamza ruling the matter was too close to trial for his release.
He is charged with one count of unlawful possession of illicit drugs under the Illicit Drugs Act following a police operation at the Yue Lai Hotel in Suva.
