Malolo man arrested for drug possession, attempted bribery

A 28-year-old man from Malolo, Nadi, is in police custody after being found in possession of illicit drugs and allegedly attempting to bribe a public servant.

Police officers conducted a search in Nadi this morning, during which the suspect was discovered with seven ziplock bags containing a white substance believed to be methamphetamine.

Following the discovery, the man reportedly tried to bribe one of the officers by offering $500.

Authorities have confirmed that investigations into the incident are underway to determine the full extent of the suspect’s involvement in drug-related activities.
