In an exciting development, Aircalin, New Caledonia’s renowned international airline, is set to enhance travel options for Fijians with the launch of a new flight connecting Nadi and French Polynesia.

Commenced yesterday, this weekly flight aims to provide increased connectivity and access to a myriad of destinations.

Fijians can anticipate several key benefits with this new route:

- a new destination: The islands of French Polynesia;

- a second weekly flight with New Caledonia;

- an opening to Pacific islands, Australia, Asia and Europe via Noumea.

The Islands of Tahiti, a dreamlike destination, offer a unique blend of natural beauty and French Polynesian charm.

From the iconic Bora Bora with its overwater bungalows to the diverse landscapes and rich cultural experiences, each island promises a distinct adventure.

The flight, taking approximately 4 hours and 40 minutes, aims to make this South Seas paradise easily accessible to Fijians.

The Islands of Tahiti invite travelers to immerse themselves in a world where privacy, relaxation, and the spirit of Mana – the life force – converge.

This launch signifies not just a new flight but an invitation for Fijians to explore and Feel Treasured in the heart of the South Pacific.

Doubling the number of flights to Noumea

Thanks to this new rotation, travelling to New Caledonia will be possible every Monday and Thursday.

Doubling the number of flights will enable passengers to adjust their travel time, providing greater flexibility in periods of stay.

Opening to the Pacific

This new flight connection is also part of a regional focus strategy aimed at creating a better link between the countries of the Pacific region and at strengthening the historical, cultural, and economic ties existing between the various archipelagos.

Via Papeete or via Noumea, the travellers will now have a new access and new stopover opportunities on their way to other Pacific Islands, to the US, to Australia, to New Zealand or to Asia and Europe.
