The body of a male victim that was recovered this morning from mangrove swamps in Fletcher road, Vatuwaqa, is believed to be an alleged suicide.
Forensic officers from the Fiji Police Force were at the scene to recover the body.
"The identity of the male victim is yet to be confirmed," Fiji Police said in a statement this morning.

Police said investigations are underway.
