Bua man with stabbed wound on chest found near roadside

Police investigations are underway after a man died from an alleged stabbing incident at Batinivuriwai Settlement, Wainunu, Bua early this morning.

In a media statement, Fiji Police Force alleged the victim was involved in a brawl at the Batinivuriwai settlement bus shelter.

"The victim was discovered lying down near the roadside with a stabbed wound on his chest," the Police statement read.

"He was conveyed to Wainunu Health Centre where he was pronounced dead upon arrival."

Investigation into the incident is underway.
