Bus Slams Into Signpost, No One Injured
The bus which belongs to Central Transport Co Limited was carrying passengers and allegedly failed to stop while headed downhill into the city along Waimanu Road.

No pedestrian or passengers were injured in the midday bus accident which occurred at the busy corner of Waimanu Road and Toorak Road in Suva yesterday.
This was confirmed by Police.
The bus which belongs to Central Transport Co Limited was carrying passengers and allegedly failed to stop while headed downhill into the city along Waimanu Road.

Police spokesperson Ana Naisoro said the driver of the bus was questioned and released.
Now the Police will await for the Land Transport Authority findings on what caused the accident.
A bystander said she saw the bus going downhill and hit the traffic sign post.
She said all the passengers seemed safe and got off the bus immediately.
