Heart Surgery Brings Joy To 'Worried' Mother

Her hands were turning black and her face pale, and hope seemed to be running out.

Kiti Tamanalevu described this as her daughter Litia Ciocala continued to give in to a rare heart disease she was diagnosed with two years ago.

She will be five years old next month.

However, a new lease of life was granted to young Litia when she underwent an open heart surgery at the Sai Sanjeevani Children’s Heart Hospital at Nasese, Suva, two weeks ago.
