Labasa body discovery under investigation

Police are investigating the death of a man whose body was discovered at Vakamasisuasua in Labasa this morning.

Police spokesperson Ana Naisoro confirmed the incident.

The man, believed to be in his 60s, worked as a hairdresser at one of the salons in Labasa Town.

It is alleged he was found dead in a compound on the property he was renting.

“A report was received of a male-iTaukei lying motionless,” Ms Naisoro said.

“The cause of death will be determined by the post mortem examination.”

Police investigations are continuing.
