Liberation of Fiji Party registered, Fiji now has 11 political parties

The Registrar of Political Parties, Ana Mataiciwa, has approved the registration of the Liberation of Fiji Party (LFP).
The party was registered under the Political Parties (Registration, Conduct, Funding and Disclosures) Act 2013.
Ms Mataiciwa confirmed that the LFP had met all legal requirements for registration under the Act.

The LFP is now required to comply with all statutory obligations applying to newly registered political parties, including submitting relevant declarations and disclosures within the prescribed timelines.
The registration of the LFP brings the total number of registered political parties in Fiji to 11.
