Man arrested after alleged stabbing at Lautoka hotel

A 23-year-old unemployed man from Waiyavi, Lautoka, is in police custody following an alleged stabbing incident at a hotel in Lautoka this morning.

Police spokesperson Ana Naisoro confirmed the incident.

She said the suspect allegedly stabbed his girlfriend with a kitchen knife at about 6am.

The victim has been admitted to Lautoka Hospital.

Ms Naisoro said the suspect had been arrested and investigations are continuing.
