Man charged over alleged sexual assault of teenage daughter

A 40-year-old man has been charged with the alleged sexual assault of his 14-year-old daughter and is expected to appear in the Nasinu Magistrates Court today.

Police said the matter was reported at the Valelevu Police Station by the victim.

The accused is alleged to have sexually assaulted the teenager at their home in October 2025 while other family members were away in Lautoka.

It is further alleged that the victim was threatened not to tell anyone about the incident.

Following investigations, the man has been charged with one count of sexual assault and one count of criminal intimidation.

He is expected to be produced in the Nasinu Magistrates Court today, June 24, 2026.
