Man charged over death of flight attendant

A man has been charged in relation to the death of a 28-year-old flight attendant following a motor vehicle accident in Martintar last month.

Police said the accused allegedly drove a vehicle involved in the accident on the morning of March 28, 2026, which resulted in the victim’s death.

Following consultations with the Office of the Director of Public Prosecutions, the man has been charged with one count of manslaughter.

He is expected to appear at a special sitting of the Nadi Magistrates Court today.
