Police investigate viral video of youth threatened with cane knife

Police have launched an investigation into a video showing several youths threatening another male youth with a cane knife.

The video, which circulated on social media yesterday afternoon, is believed to have been filmed in Galoa, Serua. It shows the victim crying and pleading for his life while the other youths stand by and mock him.

Police Spokesperson Ana Naisoro confirmed that the victim’s sister lodged a complaint yesterday afternoon, prompting the investigation.
