Police investigator in Australia over leaked Viber messages

A Police investigator is in Australia gathering information about leaked Viber messages alleging Police involvement in a criminal syndicate.

Police Commissioner Rusiate Tudravu said the Force was working to identify the source of the messages, which named several police officers, including the Commissioner, as well as other senior officials.

“The officer has again gone back to Australia. He’s there to interview the lady who had posted the messages online,” he said yesterday.

Investigations are continuing.
